EVLog does not collect any data.
The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs. The developer receives nothing about you or your car, because there is no server belonging to the developer for anything to be sent to.
EVLog connects only to addresses you enter yourself in Settings — your own TeslaMate instance (teslamateapi, and optionally Grafana and the TeslaMate web interface).
Two exceptions, both optional and both limited:
Maps are drawn with Apple's MapKit, so iOS makes its own requests to Apple for map data. Those are covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Your server addresses, your choice of car, your language preference and — if you enter one — your Tessie API key are stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. They stay on the device, are included in your device backups, and are deleted when you delete the app. The Supercharger list is cached for a week in the app's cache directory.
iOS asks for permission to reach devices on your local network. EVLog needs it for the ordinary case of a TeslaMate server running on your own network. It is used for nothing else, and the app does not scan the network.
EVLog does not use your iPhone's location services. The positions shown on maps come from your own TeslaMate database.
The app is not directed at children, and collects nothing from anyone.
